The £65m keeper's distribution is going to be a major asset. Involved in the first goal with a pin-point 60-yard pass to Salah. Commanded his box well, aside from a couple of nervy moments. Made a meal of his only meaningful save.

Nathaniel Clyne 7

Back in the fold following the birth of his son and bang on it. Pressed the ball well.

Joe Gomez 7

Has grown in confidence at centre-back over the course of this pre-season.

Virgil van Dijk 8

Dominant in the air and organised those around him. Only outfield player to play 90 minutes.

Andy Robertson 7

Had his hands full with Callejon but stood up to it well. Strong in the tackle.

A surprise choice for the holding role but showcased his versatility. Scored the second with a decent header.
